Ramayana, the story of the battle between Rama and Ravana, is an immortal composition of Valmiki and presents us a national event of ancient Indian epic which is not only an exciting story, but a deep learning tool for all the people of the world. It presents the deeds of Lord Rama. The Other main characters in this great work are Iksvaku, Dasratha, Asvapati, Janaka, Rama and Sita are incidentlly the characters of the Ramayana. The entire story moves around the sacrifice and renunciation of Lord Rama and his consort Sita, the ideal of Indian womenhood. This world famous epic has been divided into seven chapters i.e., from Balakanda to Uttarkanda. It begins with a dialogue between the sage Valmiki and the famous mythological seer Narada.
